COMMENTARY: Ezekiel’s vision of dry bones coming to life is a powerful reminder that God restores what was lost. In chapters 37–39, we see the breath of life enter lifeless bodies, the promise of national restoration, and the defeat of enemies. This is not just prophecy—it’s a declaration of divine power. God revives, rebuilds, and reigns.
Prayer: Lord God, You spoke life into dry bones, and they stood. You breathed Your Spirit into what was lifeless, and it lived. Today, breathe into me. Restore what’s broken. Revive what’s weary. Rebuild what’s been torn down. Let Your greatness and holiness be known in me, as You promised through Ezekiel. I trust Your power to restore, and I receive Your Spirit with boldness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
