Holy Holy Holy and WELCOME to a new story of faith from your friends at the Daily Redemption Bible Bulletins at theholygospel.net—and here we go….
“Why Believe His Word?”
Because God’s Word isn’t opinion—it’s oath.
It doesn’t suggest truth—it is truth.
He says, “My word will not return void”—because it creates what it commands.
Darkness fled at “Let there be light.”
Death unraveled at “Lazarus, come forth.”
When He promises healing, provision, presence—
He’s not hoping.
He’s declaring what He will do.
You can trust His Word because He has never failed.
Not in the Red Sea.
Not at Calvary.
Not in your unseen struggle today.
So when chaos whispers, “Did God really say…?”—
stand on this:
His Word is living. Active. Unbreakable.
And every promise in it bears His name.
“The grass withers… but the word of our God endures forever.” — Isaiah 40:8
Why Believe God’s Word? Because It Never Fails
Isaiah 40:8 — “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”
Joshua 23:14 — “Not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled.”
Psalm 119:89 — “Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.”
Hebrews 4:12 — “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword…”
Numbers 23:19 — “God is not human, that he should lie… Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?”
John 17:17 — “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.”
God doesn’t ask us to believe His Word because it’s comforting—but because it’s true, powerful, and unfailingly effective. Unlike human words that fade, God’s Word creates, heals, judges, and saves. It parted seas, raised the dead, and silenced storms. When Scripture speaks, reality shifts. We believe it not out of blind faith, but because history, creation, and the cross prove: God always keeps His Word. To doubt it is to doubt His character. To trust it is to stand on unshakable ground.
lyrics by Zeb of Virginia Beach Church
from his song All That I Ever Need
No matter how far I stray
No matter how far from home
No matter how much pain
I may claim as my own
No matter how much I
feel foresaken and forlorn
the love of the Lord is real
and unbelievably strong
My God, Your power,
Can move the mountains
My God, Your faith,
so beautiful and sweet
My God, Your goodness,
Is all that I ever wanted
My God, Your love,
Is all I ever need
No more do I sing about the
depths of my sorrow
no more do I sing about
regrets of the past
no more do I sing about
fears of tomorrow
no more do I sing about
things that don’t last
My God, Your mercy, Is
all that I ever wanted
My God, Your Love, Is
all I ever need
who can believe you
would send Your son
to bleed and die for me?
yes you sent your only one
Lord, forgive me when I treat Your Word as suggestion, not sovereign decree. Anchor my soul in its truth. Let me trust it not because I see results—but because You spoke it. Amen.
Painterly vertical image: ancient stone tablet resting on sunlit desert sand, Hebrew script glowing faintly as golden light rises from beneath it, distant mountains sharp against a clear blue sky, wind stirring fine dust around the base—symbolizing enduring divine speech in a shifting world; no darkness, no text overlay, no shadows on the stone.
