Longing That Leads to Life – The Daily Redemption publication for December 7th, 2025

Holy Holy Holy. We welcome you to The Daily Redemption publication for December 7th, 2025. Today’s Headline Is “Longing That Leads to Life”
🔹 Devotional

Longing is not weakness — it’s the soul’s signal that it was made for more. Psalm 42 paints the image of a deer panting for water, not out of desperation, but out of instinct. The deer knows where life flows. So do we. When our spirit aches, it’s not failure — it’s alignment. God is the stream. Our longing is the proof.
🔹 Scripture Anchors (NIV)

Psalm 42:1 — As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.

Isaiah 55:1 — Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters…

John 4:14 — …whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.

Revelation 22:17 — Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

Lyrics from Zeb of Virginia Beach Church

from his song Lord help me live this righteous life

street lights city lights dark of night
visions come from out of sight
temptations knockin but i locked the door
how long? how long can i fight this war?

prechorus:
i stumble i tumble i rise again
this road is rocky but i’ll reach the end

chorus:
Lord help me live this righteous life
pierce through my darkness with your Holy light
I’m slippin and slidin but I’m holding tight
Lord help me live this righteous life

a mustard seed of faith can move the mountain
but the dead seeds pile up near the fountain
narrow door it beckons but its out of reach
every step i take feels like a breech

🔹 Prayer

Lord, when we thirst, let it lead us to You. Quench our longing with Your presence. Let our ache become worship, and our desire become devotion. Amen.
