Unfathomable Peace – An Eternal, Mystifying Blessing Of Grace
Welcome to The Daily Redemption for Wednesday, March 18, 2026 — where we discover that God’s peace doesn’t arrive when circumstances improve, but when you—and find yourself unshaken in the storm and the anxiety let’s go your soul

from his song “Come All Ye Of Weary Heart And Mind

Come All Ye Of Weary Hearts And Minds X2
leave all your worries behind
leave all your troubles behind
Come All Ye Of Weary Hearts And Minds

you say it’s been a long hard road my friend
well i’m here to tell you every road must end
the sun is rising on a day that’s bright and new
there’s a sweet voice in the valley calling me and you

all the lies have been exposed
the agenda’s been defeated
the soldiers of the light have advanced
where they retreated

the dove if lying high over a peaceful sea
and we’ll sing a song of victory
Come All Ye Of Weary Hearts And Minds

Featured Scripture and Commentary: Philippians 4:6–7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Sometimes you are not at peace at all and there is no discernable reason why you should be and then….the dove rises, the eternal Son shines His eternal sun in your soul and in the midst of whatever travail, tribulation and even devastation you remember why you are a Christian and you are ever so glad because PEACE REIGNS. (no i am not shouting i am emphasizing 🙂 ) Now there is a peace that you might feel when things are good or in a very special, memorable moment. Let’s say for instance, your baptism and the congregation is singing “The Old Rugged Cross” as you stand in a new set of clothes with moist skin and partially wet hair as a NEW CREATURE with new eyes and you can only remark “this feels goooood”. But not just a peace that feels good but one that is beyond your understanding because you simply never felt it before and it seems to be in you, on you, all around you and pervading everything. Now sometimes though you are going through hell on Earth (to which Churchill was known to say, in such a circumstance “keep going”). You wake up from a semi-coma – your vitals are off the charts and the machines they use to measure such are smoking and springs are popping out of them and the medical care staff tells you how awful you are doing and it sounds like a death sentence and your response… “I feel good though”. I am not here to explain the unfathomable. I am just here to say, the Holy Spirit is within us if we are not just called but “chosen” and He knows our needs and understand this – God’s word in the Old Testament spoke sooth when it said “Jehovah Jireh” – the Lord WILL provide.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.
Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Matthew 11:28–30 Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
This peace doesn’t make sense. Your bank account is thin. Your body aches. The diagnosis landed. The relationship fractured. Logically, you should be unraveling—and yet… a quiet settles in your chest. A calm you can’t explain. That’s the peace that surpasses understanding: not the absence of trouble, but the presence of Christ in the middle of it. It doesn’t answer every question. It doesn’t fix every problem. But it guards your heart like a sentinel—keeping anxiety out, keeping hope in. You don’t manufacture it by trying harder. You receive it by being overwhelmed by it. Prayer. Petition. Thanksgiving. Then—peace. Not because everything’s fine. But because He is.
Lord, my mind races with what-ifs and worst-cases. I’ve tried to calm myself and failed. So I release it all to You now—not because I have answers, but because I trust You. Guard my heart with that peace that makes no sense. Let it stand watch while I sleep. Let it steady me when the news breaks. I don’t need to understand it—I just need to receive it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
