No, Jesus Did Not Guarantee You A Shiny New Bicycle. Just Something Better

I was recovering from my highly publicized (in my bulletins lol) almost near death experience in the hospital which is why I look like poo poo. Still the video received 5.1k views last week so it must have some value. I think it is my all time high views.

When Jesus says, anything that you ask for in my name will be given unto thee by the Father, He's not talking about a new bicycle. He's talking about eternal glory. He's also talking about how He is in the Father and the Father is in Him and they are one, but Jesus is also in us and we are also in Jesus.
So the context here is that God loved Jesus even before the world was created and that Jesus is saying that we should have the same glory.
(meaning because of our faith, because when the Father sees us He sees the sacrificial atoning blood of Jesus and because in spite of all our best efforts to mess things up God still loves His creation. so some day undeserved rewards will rain upon us)
