“But, oh, what a difference he made! He came to show us the way to eternal life. He came to heal the sick and feed the hungry. He came to love the unlovable and forgive the unforgivable.
“And, most importantly, he came to die for us on the cross. He took our sin upon himself and paid the price for it with his own blood.
“So, my friends, as we celebrate Christmas this year, let’s remember the true reason for the season. Let’s remember the love that God showed us by sending his son to be born in Bethlehem. And let’s strive to follow in his footsteps, loving and serving others just as he did.
