Fisher’s 6 June 2024 – played a Dylan song at open mic last night – “Everything Is Broken”. Subsequently the cell phone being used to video the performance by the host of the open mic… yep, it broke. Then they got it running but the next two songs didnt get recorded…. just static. Is that demonic? simulation glitch? coincidence?

These first two songs were performed as we, members of the musician’s community in Virginia Beach, said goodbye to one of our beloved venues. First here is the sad story and then the
performances which brought back to me a voice I forgot I had.
It is with a shattered heart that we announce the closing of Beach Barracudas. Due to not being able to obtain a reasonable lease with my landlord and the theft from an employee we are not financially able to continue.
I would love to thank my staff for all of their hard work, dedication and professionalism. It has been an honor to work with such quality individuals. And we were blessed to have you part of the Cuda family.
We apologize to the bands that have future gigs here. We have enjoyed countless evenings, sitting back, relaxing or up on the dance floor dancing to some of the most talented musicians in the area and we would like to thank you all for some really fun evenings.
Thank you to all of our customers that became friends and family. We will miss all of you.
Come out this week and say goodbye to Barracuda. We’re going to have a goodbye blast Friday night with radio 80s
