From Seed to Shelter. Mustard Seed Revelations

Holy Holy Holy. We welcome you to The Daily Redemption publication for November 14, 2025.
Today’s theme is the Mustard Seed — the smallest seed that grows into the largest tree.

Headline: From Seed to Shelter.

Scripture reminds us: the kingdom begins small but grows vast, Daniel saw a tree sheltering all, Ezekiel foresaw a cedar planted by God, and the psalmist sang of birds nesting in branches.

Matthew 13:31–32 — “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed… though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”

Daniel 4:12 — “Its leaves were beautiful, its fruit abundant, and on it was food for all. Under it the wild animals found shelter, and in its branches the birds of the heavens lived.” (more below)

Ezekiel 17:23 — “On the mountain heights of Israel I will plant it; it will produce branches and bear fruit and become a splendid cedar. Birds of every kind will nest in it; they will find shelter in the shade of its branches.”

Psalm 104:12 — “The birds of the sky nest by the waters; they sing among the branches.”

Devotion: The kingdom of God often begins unnoticed, like a seed. Yet in time, it grows into a refuge for many. What seems small in your life today may be the very seed of God’s expansive work tomorrow.

Prayer: Lord, plant Your kingdom deep within us. Let our faith grow from seed to shelter, from hidden beginnings to visible fruit. May our lives be branches where others find rest and hope.

lyrics provided by Zeb of Virginia Beach Church:
from Lord help me live this righteous life

Lord help me live this righteous life
pierce through my darkness with your Holy light
I’m slippin and slidin but I’m holding tight
Lord help me live this righteous life

a mustard seed of faith can move the mountain
but the dead seeds pile up near the fountain
narrow door it beckons but its out of reach
every step i take feels like a breech

from When The Troubles Come
tough times never last
only faithful people do
that’s why I am stickin to my Jesus
like we’re connected with super glue
i call his name and I am saved
he has never once refused
thats why this ol’ guitar man
ain’t singin the lonesome blues
Guiding Transition: As you step into today, remember the mustard seed — small beginnings, great growth, eternal shelter.
