How I Overcame Fear With Psalm 27
Scriptures
Primary: Psalm 27:1 — “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?”

2 Timothy 1:7 — “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”
Joshua 1:9 — “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Devotional
Fear is one of the enemy’s most effective weapons. It clouds judgment, paralyzes action, and steals peace. Yet Psalm 27:1 reminds us that the Lord Himself is our light and salvation. When His presence is our anchor, fear loses its grip.
Isaiah 41:10 assures us that God’s strength is greater than any threat we face. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares that fear is not our inheritance — instead, we are given power, love, and discipline through the Spirit. Joshua 1:9 calls us to courage, not because of our own strength, but because the Lord walks with us wherever we go.
To overcome fear is not to deny its existence, but to confront it with faith. Each verse builds a shield around the believer, reminding us that courage flows from God’s presence, not human resolve.

Prayer
