Trouble Is Guaranteed—Peace Is Given Unto Us As Undeserved Grace – The Daily Redemption Bible Bulletin 24 Jan 26

John 16:33 — “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Romans 8:37 — “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”

Colossians 2:15 — “Having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”

Psalm 46:1–2 — “God is our refuge and strength… therefore we will not fear…”

1 John 5:4 — “Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.”

Isaiah 41:10 — “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.”
Jesus didn’t promise a trouble-free life—He promised something better: His presence in the storm and His victory over it. “I have overcome the world” isn’t hopeful optimism—it’s historical fact. At the cross, He defeated sin, death, and every spiritual power aligned against us. Our trials are real, but they’re not final. Because the war is already won, we fight from rest, not for it. Our peace isn’t based on circumstances—it’s rooted in Christ’s finished work. So when chaos comes, we don’t deny it. We declare: “My King has already won.”

lyrics by Zeb of Virginia Beach Church
from his song – T’Telestai Is Finished –

It is done it is finished hallelujah Tetelestai
Jesus said it. Jesus did it, it is written. our spirits fly

Stop your weeping Lonely pilgrims
No need for sorrow Anymore.
This world of darkness Has been defeated
No need to study war no more

This world of darkness Has been defeated
Overcome And been exposed
Jesus said That it is finished
Then he died And then he rose

Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit
We are Forever blessed Forever young
Let’s Live in joy And exaltation
It is finished It is done

let me tell you my little story
I was lost and now I’m found
Jesus is with me His love surrounds me
and I am standing on Holy Ground (because)

and from his song “When The Troubles Come”

He’ll Be There No Need To Fear
No need to shed a single tear
He’ll be there he always is
There’s nothing that I have ever known
more than I know this

When the troubles come
He’ll be there when the troubles come

tough times never last
only faithful people do
that’s why I am stickin to my Jesus
like we’re connected with super glue
i call his name and I am saved
he has never once refused
thats why this ol’ guitar man
ain’t singin the lonesome blues

Lord, when trouble rises, remind me: my hope isn’t in calm waters, but in the One who walks on them. Let Your victory be my confidence today. Amen.
Painterly vertical image: pre-dawn light through a city apartment window, a woman sitting on the floor wrapped in a blanket, hands resting on an open Bible, soft golden glow on her face, storm clouds parting in the distance—peace in the midst of pressure; no darkness on her, no text, no shadows.
