Her parents were both devout Jews and she grew up following their religion. When she was twelve years old, she had her first vision from God. From then on, she knew that she had a special relationship with the divine.As Mary grew older, she became more interested in religious matters. She often went to the temple to pray and meditate. It was during one of these visits that she met Jesus for the first time. He was preaching to the crowds and she was immediately drawn to his message. After that meeting, she became one of his most dedicated followers.She continued to stand by Jesus’ side through everything, including his arrest and crucifixion. After he died, she went to his tomb to mourn him but found that he had risen from the dead just as he said he would!
