Mini-Resurrections: Choose Life Over Death In Every Mome

Welcome to The Daily Redemption for Monday, February 23, 2026 — where we rise again, not just once at the end, but every morning by the power of the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead.
Scripture:
Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life.

Colossians 3:1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Philippians 3:10–11 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of His resurrection and participation in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.

Devotional Core:
Resurrection isn’t just a future hope—it’s a daily rhythm. Every time you choose forgiveness over bitterness, truth over comfort, obedience over ease—you’re rising. Spiritual warfare isn’t always dramatic battles; often, it’s the quiet “no” to death and the whispered “yes” to life. You don’t need a grand moment. Just this breath. This choice. This surrender. Because the same power that rolled away the stone is alive in you—and it’s ready to raise you today.

Opening Worship Lyrics by Zeb of Virginia Beach Church
from his song “Because Of You”
I had no hope of hope I had no joy or peace
and now all that despair has been released

When darkness still tries to push me down
I just float on the water They can’t make me drown
They can’t make me sink They can’t make me fall
I glide I soar I am way above it all

from his song “Broken No Longer”
My spirit embittered and soured and worse
Sweetened now and fortified that’s what my Lord does
This gift of new life he’ll bring to you
Just trusting him he’ll deliver the truth
Which I couldn’t see but now I know
this love forever, it forever flows

from his song “Grace On My Mind”
Undeserved favor ours to receive
when we open our hearts and in Jesus believe
I got grace on my mind

from his song “All In For Jesus”

ain’t gotta fight your battles
against the darkness filled with doubt
ain’t gotta drown in your sin
ain’t gotta swim in your fear

Prayer:
Lord, I’ve felt dead inside—numb, weary, stuck.
But Your Spirit whispers: “Rise.”
So I lay down my resignation.
I reject the lie that today must be like yesterday.
By Your power, I walk in newness of life—
not someday.
Today.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
