Don’t Let the World’s Fire Consume Your Soul – DR Bible Blast Bulletin 6 March 26

Don’t Let the World’s Fire Consume Your Soul
Welcome to The Daily Redemption for Friday, March 6, 2026 — where we refuse to let the rising heat of injustice and rage dictate our inner peace, and instead guard our hearts with the unshakable calm of Christ.
Opening Worship Lyrics by Zeb of Virginia Beach Church
from his song With Every Step And Every Breath

as we walk this twisted and dangerous land
and slowly move from birth to death
Jesus walks beside us
with every step and every breath

as we navigate this tumultuous life
with our sins and our regrets
we reach for the love of Jesus
with every step and every breath

Dear Jesus give us wisdom
Blessed Jesus give us strength
Jesus help us follow you
with every step and every breath

with every step and every breath X2
let’s stand in the light of Jesus
with every step and every breath

someday we’ll be in heaven
but we ain’t got there yet
so let’s stay centered in Jesus
with every step and every breath

Romans 12:17–21 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Psalm 37:7–9 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.

Isaiah 59:1–2 Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

The world is growing louder, angrier, more divided—and it’s tempting to match its volume. But Jesus never said, “Outrage louder.” He said, “Love deeper.” Perseverance isn’t passive resignation; it’s active resistance through goodness. It’s feeding the enemy. It’s refusing to dehumanize. It’s doing justice quietly while trusting God with vengeance. Yes, evil seems to thrive. But your calling isn’t to fix the whole system—it’s to stay faithful in your corner of it. Keep loving. Keep speaking truth. Keep sowing kindness. Not because it guarantees results, but because it reflects the One who overcame the world—not with fire, but with a cross.
Lord, my heart aches at the injustice I see. My hands want to strike back. But You call me higher. Give me courage to do good when it’s hard. Give me patience when change is slow. And guard my soul from becoming what I oppose. Let my life be a quiet rebellion of grace in a raging world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
