Jesus Forgave Peter His Unforgiveables – He Will Forgive You
Welcome to The Daily Redemption for Wednesday, March 11, 2026 — where we remember that the same grace that restored Peter after his denials is still wide open for your stumbles, regrets, and failures.

Opening Worship Lyrics by Zeb of Virginia Beach Church
from his song Tumble, Stumble And Fall

The wicked will tumble For they missed the call
Inevitably tumble, stumble and fall
The wicked will tumble Stumble and Fall
God’s Justice will reign so people stand tall
Gotta stand tall in the Lord’s light that’s all
Peter said not me Lord And so sayeth thou
Then Peter denied him And came crashing down
So be not haughty Don’t be self-assured
Just trust in the Lord And his holy word
From this day forward My solemn pledge
I will get off the fence Come in from the ledge
I choose your wisdom Lord your endless fountain of grace
I will not move from this Holy place.
Gonna stand tall In the Lord’s light that’s all
Gonna stand tall So I won’t  tumble, stumble or fall

John 21:15–17 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love Me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “You know that I love You.” Jesus said, “Feed My lambs.” Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, You know that I love You.” Jesus said, “Take care of My sheep.” The third time He said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love Me?” He said, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said, “Feed My sheep.”

Matthew 26:75 And he went outside and wept bitterly.

Luke 22:31–32 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Peter denied Jesus three times, publicly, with curses on his lips. He cut off the Roman soldier’s ear so Jesus had to perform surgery while being taken off to his torture and he unknowingly tried to intervene in the salvation of mankind prompting Jesus to call him Satan! He didn’t just stumble; he collapsed. And yet—Jesus didn’t discard him. He sought him. He named him. He entrusted him with his church. That’s the gospel: your worst failure is not your final word. Your shame isn’t a barrier—it’s an invitation to deeper grace. So why do you treat your goofs like unforgivable crimes? God already saw them—and still called you. Still loves you. Still has work for you. Your past doesn’t disqualify you. It prepares you to strengthen others who are falling, just like you did.
Lord, I’ve replayed my failures like evidence against myself. But You call them proof of Your mercy. Thank You for not letting my denial define me. Help me stop hiding in shame and start living in the freedom of being fully known—and fully forgiven. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
