We treat God like a cosmic safety net—there when we need Him, silent when we ignore Him. But Scripture warns: “God shall not be mocked.” He is not fooled by religious words that hide unrepentant hearts. He is not impressed by performance without surrender. The same hands that bless also judge. And the same grace that saves demands honesty. You cannot play games with the Almighty and expect peace. But here’s the hope: when you stop pretending, He draws near. Not to crush you—but to cleanse you.
