Matthew 5:14 — “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”
Acts 1:8 — “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses…”
Romans 10:15 — “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
🔹 Devotional Capsule
God doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called. Isaiah’s response wasn’t perfect, but it was willing. “Send me” is the cry of a surrendered heart, ready to carry light into darkness. You are not alone. The Spirit empowers, the Word guides, and the mission is already blessed.
Lyrics by Zeb of Virginia Beach Church
from his song: Lord, Hear My Heart –
hear my heart Lord
hear my soul
calling out to you
please make me whole
come sit with me
As I pray
use me and send me Lord
This brand new day
from his song Lord, Here I Am
first thing in the morning when I’m still in bed
first thought that always come in my heart and in my head
put my hand on my heart and still my mind
and I listen for your voice so serene and sublime
Lord Here I Am
One thing I ask of thee at the start of every day
how can I lend a hand what part shall i play?
where should i go? what should I do?
what should I say and to whom?
Lord Here I Am
