Don’t Be Fooled Or Devoured by Wolves Dressed In Wool – DR Bible Blast Bulletin 13 March 26

Welcome to The Daily Redemption for Thursday, March 12, 2026 — where we learn to protect the flock not with suspicion, but with Scripture-rooted discernment.
Opening Worship Lyrics by Zeb of Virginia Beach Church:
from his song “I just want to forgive”

I don’t want vindication Because I already know the truth
I don’t want wrath or vengeance lord these things belong to You
And I know that I can’t find them With a compass or treasure map
I just need your grace to reign over me And fill those things I lack

Because unforgiveness is a sin And I want all my sin washed clean
And I want to glorify you Lord By forgiving those who are still haunting me
I just need your grace to reign over me And fill those things I lack
I just wanna forgive

Acts 20:29–30 I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.

Matthew 7:15 Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

1 John 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

2 Corinthians 11:13–15 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also pretend to be servants of righteousness.

Hebrews 5:14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Church isn’t a safe space because it’s “religiou”s—it’s safe only when it’s rooted in truth and when people can say “NO” too many believers, hungry for belonging or healing, are led astray by smooth talker, those who pull on their heart strings – because neediness can be weaponized-and who promise blessing but demand loyalty. Those who are first to cry “Foul” when they can’t have their way with you. some who claim divine authority but bear no fruit of humility. Discernment isn’t cynicism—it’s love with eyes wide open. It starts with knowing Scripture so well that you recognize counterfeit teaching the moment it strays from Christ’s character. it could be the smooth talker or the woman in a wheel chair who does nothing to help but insist on help from others alway and who makes great claims of blessings every other week. It means asking: Does this message exalt Jesus—or the messenger? Does it produce freedom—or capitulation/fear? Does it point to grace—or control? Protect your heart, yes—but also gently warn your brothers and sisters. Not with gossip, but with grace. Because the best defense against wolves isn’t paranoia—it’s a flock that knows the Shepherd’s voice.
Lord, guard my heart from deception. Give me hunger for Your Word so I can spot what’s false. And give me courage to speak truth in love when I see a brother or sister being led astray or leading others for their benefit alone. Don’t shame or censure but stand tall and help save. Make me a faithful sheep who helps others hear You clearly. The “least of these” are not manipulators. In Jesus’ name, Amen. The “least of these” are not manipulators. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
